Kenridge is one of the only primary schools in the country that has cycling as a school sport.

We have two practices per week (one hour each). The riders learn cycling skills, safety, sportsmanship, bike maintenance, etc.

Kenridge Primary is proud of some of our cyclists who started their cycling career here and took the sport further to become well-known figures in the sporting world, e.g. Michael Van Staden (S.A. track champion and professional road cyclist in S.A. and Europe) and Richard Murray (took part in the World Triathlon Championships and the all African Mountain Bike Championships).
