Welcome to Grade 2! 2024 is a year of many exciting adventures, new things and having lots and lots of fun.
We start the year with the theme, “All about ME” and we look forward to learning about your families. Once we know our children well, we will travel back in time to the land of dinosaurs, spending time learning all about these prehistoric creatures before ending the term off with the giants.
Term Two is the best term yet. Gather your Egyptian attire and be ready to be transported back in time as the school is transformed into Ancient Egypt and we become pharaohs, Egyptian princesses, slaves and mummies.
We spend the Third Term learning about the water cycle, Vikings and frogs. 
We end off the year with a bang as we study transport and the giant Titanic.
Grade 2 is a fun-filled year and we look forward to spending it with you.
Ons is baie opgewonde oor die jaar wat voorlê en gaan vele nuwe opwindende dinge leer en pret hê.
Ons begin die jaar met die tema, “Alles oor MYSELF” en ons sien daarna uit om oor ons Graad 2’s en hul gesinne te leer. Sodra ons die kinders goed leer ken het, sal ons na die pre-historiese tye reis en alles leer oor die dinosourusse wat lank, lank gelede geleef het. Ons sluit die kwartaal af deur interessante feite van reuse te leer.
Die Tweede Kwartaal is die beste ooit! Kry jou Egiptiese drag reg en wees gereed om terug in tyd te reis terwyl die skool in Antieke Egipte verander en ons in mummies, farao’s, Egiptiese prinsesse en slawe verander.
Gedurende die Derde Kwartaal leer ons van Vikings en Paddas.
Ons eindig die jaar op ‘n hoogtepunt deur van Vervoer en die reuse Titanic te leer.
Hierdie jaar gaan ‘n besige en opwindende een wees en ons sien uit daarna om dit saam met ons Graad 2’s te spandeer.
