Take note of our expectations:
- Remind your child to pack their school bags the night before and make sure they are prepared for the following school day.
- We recommend they go to bed early to ensure they get a good night’s rest for a wonderful day of learning.
- We take pride in our school uniform and therefore learners need to ensure they are wearing the correct school uniform. Do not mix and match Physical Education clothes and the formal school uniform.
- Please make sure that all stationery and clothing are clearly labeled with your child’s name and surname. Learners are aware of the lost property procedures.
- If your child is absent, he/she is responsible for catching up on the work missed. This also applies to learners attending music lessons during school hours.
General:
- Please refer to the CASS dates that are in your child’s homework diary for any important dates. Please teach your child time-management skills by helping them set up a study timetable to make sure they are well prepared for all their assessments.
Camp:
We have a lot of fun planned for our Grade Sixes, but one of the highlights is our camp. We will be having our camp in October 2023, which will be taking place at Bonamanzi. You will be notified closer to the time regarding the costs, dates etc.
Thank you for your participation and commitment which will ensure that your child has the best year possible.
Here in Grade Six, we strive for progress, not perfection. We encourage our learners to learn from their mistakes and use them to grow.

Neem kennis van ons verwagtinge:
- Herinner u kind om hulle skooltas alreeds die vorige aand te pak en maak seker dat hulle gereed is vir die volgende skooldag.
- Ons stel voor dat hulle vroeg genoeg bed toe gaan om te verseker dat hulle genoeg slaap inkry vir die wonderlike dag van leer wat sal plaasvind.
- Ons heg baie waarde aan ons skooluniform. Maak asb. seker dat Ligaamlike Opvoeding-klere nie gemeng word met die formele skooluniform nie.
- Maak asb. seker dat alle skryfbehoeftes, asook klere, duidelik gemerk is met hulle naam en van. Leerders is bewus van die verlore goedere prosedure.
- Indien u kind afwesig is, is dit hulle eie verantwoordelikheid om op te vang met die werk wat behandel is. Dit geld ook vir leerders wat musieklesse bywoon gedurende skoolure.
Algemeen:
- Vir enige belangrike datums, verwys asb. na die toestrooster wat in u kind se huiswerkboek is.
- Leer asb. u kind om hulle tyd goed te bestuur deur ’n studierooster op te stel om te verseker dat hulle goed voorbereid is vir alle assesserings.
Kamp:
Ons het baie pret beplan vir ons Graad Sesse, maar een van die hoogtepunte is ons kamp. Ons hou ons kamp in Oktober 2023, wat by Bonamanzi plaasvind. U sal nader aan die tyd in kennis gestel word oor die kostes, datums ens.
Baie dankie vir u deelname en toewyding om te verseker dat u kind die beste Graad 6 jaar ooit sal hê.
Hier in Graad 6 streef ons na vordering en nie perfeksie nie. Ons moedig die leerders aan om uit hulle foute te leer en daardeur te groei.
