Our Mission
- To provide each piano student with the joy of making music.
- To select a repertoire that aligns with each learner’s ability, interests, and personality.
- To develop a strong technical foundation.
- To offer opportunities for learners to participate in ensemble playing.
Piano Tuition
Piano lessons are available for students from Grade One to Grade Seven. Interested learners should complete the application form on the website. If the quota of students is full, your child’s name will be placed on a waiting list. Final acceptance will be determined after a six-month trial period. Each student needs to have a piano at home before starting lessons.
During practical lessons, students receive instruction in technical work, studies, and pieces. Sight-reading and aural training are also integral parts of the lessons.
Beginners receive theory instruction during their lessons. Learners from Theory Grade 1 level and above should join a group for theory tuition. Teachers will provide guidance on this matter. Participation in external examinations (Unisa and Trinity College), Eisteddfod, music competitions, and other concerts is strongly recommended. Teachers will use their discretion to advise learners accordingly.
Lesson options: 25 minutes (once or twice a week)
